  • Faia Younan: A Syrian artist whose rise included being the first Middle Eastern singer to crowdfund a debut single. Her style combines strong emotional expression with poetic lyrics; tracks like “Ya Qatily,” “Fi Al Tariki Ilaik,” “Ya Laytahou Yaalam” are representative of her work.
  • The concert promises a mix of duets and solo performances, featuring a blend of Arabic music traditions, lyrical storytelling, and nostalgic hits.

Additional Venue Technical Notes

  • Dubai Opera’s architecture is inspired by the traditional dhow, with the “bow” of the building forming the main stage and seating area, and the elongated “hull” shaped area forming the foyer, drop-off zones, and parking zones.
  • The venue features state-of-the-art acoustics, ceiling reflectors and towers that assist sound distribution when in concert mode.
  • The foyer has large glass panes and open public areas; ventilation and air-conditioning are designed to handle large crowds moving in/out, especially under Dubai’s climate.
