Plan your Eid Al Etihad evening with this full fireworks timetable for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, including exact dates, times and locations across the UAE.
Dubai fireworks schedule
Dubai hosts the largest cluster of Eid Al Etihad fireworks, with shows spread across several waterfront districts and even out in the mountains. Most Dubai shows take place on 2 December, with Global Village adding extra nights.
Dubai Festival City Mall lights up on 2 December at 8:00 PM. The show is set over Dubai Creek, so the promenade, outdoor restaurants and waterside seating areas usually give the clearest view. Arriving well before sunset makes it easier to find parking and a comfortable spot along the water.
Global Village runs fireworks for three consecutive nights, from 1 to 3 December, each evening at 9:00 PM. This is the most “festival-style” option, as you can explore pavilions, food stands and rides before the show. Plan to be inside the park at least an hour early so you are not queuing at the gate when the first bursts hit the sky.
Bluewaters and JBR share a joint display on 2 December at 9:00 PM. The show can be seen from the JBR beach, The Walk promenade and the Bluewaters side near the observation wheel. Metro plus tram is usually faster than trying to drive and park right before 9:00 PM, especially if you are coming from other parts of the city.
Souk Al Seef, along Dubai Creek, also hosts fireworks on 2 December at 9:00 PM. Traditional architecture, lanterns and the reflections on the water create a more old-Dubai atmosphere. Restaurants with terraces fill up early, so it is worth booking or arriving ahead of the dinner rush if you want a seated view.
Around Burj Khalifa, the fireworks are scheduled for 2 December at 8:00 PM. This is one of the most popular spots in the city; expect strict crowd control and road closures around Downtown Dubai. Using the metro and walking from Dubai Mall or Business Bay stations usually saves time compared with driving into the area.
Hatta offers a very different experience on 2 December, with fireworks at 8:00 PM against a backdrop of mountains and the Hatta Dam. Many visitors spend the day hiking or kayaking, then stay for the evening show. If you plan to drive back to Dubai the same night, give yourself extra time for slower traffic on the roads out of Hatta after the display ends.
Abu Dhabi fireworks schedule
Abu Dhabi focuses its Eid Al Etihad fireworks around key waterfront and landmark locations, mainly on 2 and 3 December. If you are based in the capital, you can actually catch shows on both nights without leaving the city.
Yas Island Waterfront hosts fireworks on both 2 and 3 December at 9:00 PM. The display is visible from the promenade near Yas Bay, as well as from some hotel terraces and restaurant decks. Because many visitors combine the show with theme parks or dining, it is smart to plan where you will watch from before the crowds build along the water.
At Emirates Palace, the fireworks are listed for 2 December at 9:15 PM. The luxurious hotel and its beachfront provide a dramatic setting, and some vantage points along the Corniche area can also catch the show. Parking and entry rules can change during busy national celebrations, so allow extra time to get through security and into position.
Al Maryam Island features fireworks on 2 and 3 December from 9:00 PM onwards. That phrasing suggests the show may run in phases rather than a single short burst, so it is wise to be in place by 9:00 PM and plan to stay for a while. Open areas along the island’s seafront generally offer wide, unobstructed views back towards the skyline.
Sharjah fireworks schedule
Sharjah keeps things focused and family-friendly, with one main waterfront location in the programme. For those who prefer a relaxed, park-style setting, Sharjah is an excellent option.
Al Majaz Waterfront hosts fireworks on 2 December from 9:00 PM onwards. The show happens over the lagoon, with reflections on the water and the Sharjah skyline as a backdrop. Families often arrive earlier to let children enjoy the play areas, musical fountain and cafés before the fireworks. Traffic on roads around the waterfront can be heavy right before and after the show, so planning an early arrival and a slower departure makes the evening smoother.
Across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, this schedule gives you several choices: big-city skylines, traditional creek views, theme-park energy or quiet mountain scenery. Pick one location and arrive early, or design your own mini tour of UAE fireworks across the long Eid Al Etihad weekend.
