Few Things, Endless Discoveries

Mehran Modiri Live at Dubai Opera November 13

Doors open on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 19:30, the concert starts at 20:00, and runs for about 2 hours 30 minutes including an intermission. Arrive early to avoid queues.

This is a celebration of Mehran Modiri’s 40-year artistic journey, blending music, storytelling, and nostalgia in a grand Downtown setting. Not suitable for children under 5. (suitable for couples, solo)

Dubai Opera opens its building two hours before showtime, with auditorium doors typically opening 30 minutes prior. Latecomers are held until the intermission.

Ticket categories begin at approximately AED 399 and rise by view and section; prime seats cost more. Treat all prices as approximately.

Dubai Opera’s dress code favors elegance; avoid shorts and flip-flops to prevent entry issues. Dress smart to ensure admission.

Parking is available on site: early arrivals get a 50% discount on paid parking for the first hour, then it is AED 70 until the end of the show. Parking capacity is limited.

There is also free underground Downtown parking nearby that is not managed by Dubai Opera, subject to availability. Free options may fill quickly. (children/family-friendly for the area’s promenades)

Valet is available at the venue and is chargeable; pricing varies by show and demand. Budget for valet if you want the closest drop-off.

Dubai Opera is on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown Dubai; phone +971 4 440 8888. Keep the venue number handy.

Metro access is straightforward: ride the Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall and walk around 15–25 minutes via the Downtown promenades. Public transport can beat peak traffic.

Taxis and ride-hailing are plentiful around the Dubai Mall and Boulevard, but pick-up zones get crowded right after 22:30. Book your ride a few minutes before the finale.

Dining after the show is popular across Downtown; most venues peak between 21:30 and 23:00. Reserve if you prefer a specific restaurant. (suitable for couples)

Coming from Abu Dhabi, take E100 from Al Ghubaiba or E101 from Ibn Battuta; one-way fares are approximately AED 25–30, then transfer to the Red Line. Plan your last return bus in advance. (suitable for solo)

If you drive from Abu Dhabi, allow 90–120 minutes off-peak via E11 and factor Thursday rush between 17:00 and 20:00 near Business Bay. Build in a 30-minute buffer for Downtown access.

From Sharjah or Ajman, intercity routes such as E303/E306/E307 reach Union or Deira; Metro Red Line continues to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall. Expect approximately AED 10–17 one-way. (suitable for solo)

If you prefer to taxi from Union to the venue, set out before 18:30 to avoid the heaviest Sheikh Zayed Road slowdown. Leaving earlier saves time and cost.

Accessibility is supported with step-free access and designated seating; request assistance through the box office when you book. Notify the venue if you need wheelchair seating.

Cameras and video recording are restricted inside the auditorium unless stated by the promoter; phones should be on silent. Follow ushers’ guidance.

Food from outside is not permitted; beverages from venue bars may be allowed in disposable cups depending on the performance. Check signage before entering the hall.

Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16 are forecast warm and dry around 32–33°C by day and 19–22°C at night, with hazy sunshine and light breezes. No rain or mud risk is expected. (children/family-friendly for daytime outdoor plans)
